Welcome to the LUMINARY ROLI Jingle Bells competition ("Competition"). These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Competition. By entering the Competition, participants ("You", "Your") are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom, Europe, United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, aged 18 and over, except employees of LUMINARY ROLI, their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or the Competition.
The Competition begins on Thursday, 21st November, and ends on Tuesday 31st December at midnight PST ("Competition Period"). Entries submitted after the Competition Period will not be considered.
To enter the Competition, participants must:
Share a video of yourself performing ‘Jingle Bells’ with Piano M and ROLI Learn.
Post the video publicly on any social media platform (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or Twitter) using the hashtag #FreeTheMusic and tag us at @roli_learn or @roli. Please have your Piano M in shot as well.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
The winner will receive a prize of one year’s free subscription to the ROLI Learn app. The Prize is as stated, and no other alternatives will be offered. The Prize is not transferable.
The winner will be chosen at random from all entries received and verified by the Promoter and/or its agents. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on social media within 14 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
By entering this Competition, You agree that any personal information provided by You with the Competition entry may be held and used only by LUMINARY ROLI or its agents and suppliers to administer the Competition.
If You are the winner, You agree that LUMINARY ROLI may use Your name, image, and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this Competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
By entering this Competition, You grant LUMINARY ROLI and its affiliates a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, and create derivative works of the entries (along with a name credit) in connection with the Competition and promotion of the Competition, in any media now or later developed, including but not limited to:
Online advertisements and promotions, including on social media platforms and websites;
Email marketing campaigns;
Social media marketing;
In-store displays and point-of-sale materials;
Out-of-home advertising such as billboards and digital screens;
Broadcast advertising including television and radio spots.
This includes the right to use your name, likeness, voice, and biographical information for publicity, advertising, trade, or promotional purposes without further payment, notice, review, or consent, where permitted by law. Where any such personal data is processed for purposes of the promotion of Piano M and ROLI Learn, such processing will be carried out by the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
Please ensure that all content submitted is your original work and does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties. Participants warrant that they have the full authority to grant these rights.
Should you wish to withdraw your consent for us to use your entry, you may do so at any time by contacting us at [email protected], however, please note that this will not affect any use already made of your entry.
LUMINARY ROLI reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Competition if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond LUMINARY ROLI’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Competition, as determined by LUMINARY ROLI in its sole discretion.
LUMINARY ROLI and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Competition.
By participating in this Competition, You agree that the Terms and Conditions will be governed by UK law and that any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
LUMINARY ROLI reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the Promotion if it is prohibited in the entrant’s jurisdiction or, in LUMINARY ROLI’s sole discretion, it reasonably believes that the entrant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by cheating, deception, providing false information, engaging in any unfair playing practices or annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any other entrants, LUMINARY ROLI users or LUMINARY ROLI. LUMINARY ROLI does not actively monitor any activity on its service, but if LUMINARY ROLI becomes aware of any attempts by any entrant or other third party to influence the results of any Promotion by the use of bots, botnets, scripts, apps, plugins, extensions or other means, automated or otherwise, to artificially create accounts, or otherwise to misrepresent the usage relating to the Promotion, LUMINARY ROLI reserves the right to take action at its discretion including, without limitation, deletion of that user’s account. Any non-compliance with these Rules, Terms of Use or the like may result in the immediate elimination of the entrant from the Promotion.
