May Zoean is a music producer, songwriter, and singer based in Los Angeles. Her love for music started at a young age. "Today, I’m making my 12-year-old self’s dreams come true by working as a full-time music producer. On top of releasing my original music, I write and produce music for many talented artists. I also record vocals and vocal samples for other producers."
Inspired Beginnings
May's journey into music production began with a curiosity that led her to experiment with various music production software at a young age. Despite the limitations of not having professional music gear, her passion for music prevailed. “I remember downloading a bunch of music production DAWs onto my parents’ home computer when I was only 13. I was so excited about experimenting with new sounds while trying to produce songs and make beats. I had no music gear, no knowledge of music whatsoever. I just wanted to step inside the music world. I would play sounds on the computer's QWERTY keyboard instead of a proper MIDI one. Of course, the quality of those early songs was terrible, but that experience inspired me to approach the music-making process more seriously.”

Her first hardware purchase, Audio-Technica headphones, elevated her music production experience by providing clarity and precision in sound.
