TIME Magazine names the ROLI Piano System one of the Best Inventions of 2025

This will be our third inclusion on the prestigious list since debuting with Piano M in 2019

For more than 20 years, TIME’s expert editors and contributors have been keeping a close eye on scientific and technological breakthroughs with the potential to change the way people live. The most promising innovations are celebrated in the magazine’s annual Best Inventions list. Previous winners have included the original iPhone and iPad, the Nintendo Wii, Google’s self-driving car, and NASA’s Curiosity Rover.

And we’ve just received word that ROLI Piano System, the combined ecosystem of ROLI Piano, Piano, Airwave, and the ROLI Learn app, ROLI Studio, and Airwave Player, will feature in the 2025 edition of TIME’s roundup.

Here at ROLI, we’ve been honored with inclusion twice before: first with Piano M (formerly known as LUMI Keys) in 2019 and then with Seaboard 2 (formerly Seaboard RISE 2) in 2022. As three-time winners, we’re in good company. Samsung, Nintendo, and GE Healthcare have also won three times, and only eight organizations have bested that total, including the aforementioned Apple, Google, and NASA.
