That’s why we came up with Piano Assistant. Available now as a free upgrade to your ROLI Learn app subscription, this AI-powered piano coach is here to help, whenever you need it: just press a button on your Piano M or ROLI Piano and ask away. Piano Assistant will think for a moment, and answer right back.
Last week, we took ROLI Piano and Piano Assistant to make their debut appearances at the annual NAMM Show, the biggest music trade event in the industry. Watch as ROLI Product Manager Kaushik Sureshkumar showcases a full tour of Piano Assistant’s features at the ROLI booth among the bustle of the latest and greatest in music technology.
So what kinds of things can Piano Assistant help you with? From getting set up with the app to clarifying music theory concepts, offering tips on playing technique, or just providing musical trivia, it’s a fountain of piano-playing knowledge. You can even ask it to queue up a particular song for you or take you to a certain part of the ROLI Learn app.
Accessing Piano Assistant is easy. You can find it on the search page in the ROLI Learn app, or a banner on your home page will also take you there. When you first use Piano Assistant, you'll be prompted to set it up, and then you can ask any questions you have.
Piano Assistant will always be accessible with an icon at the top right-hand corner of the Search screen, but you can always turn Assistant off in the app settings, or if you’re on the Family plan, the admin user can manage the feature accessibility for different accounts.
Meet ROLI Piano
Piano Assistant is fully compatible with Piano M and the new ROLI Piano, which you can currently pick up with savings of $200 / £180 / €200 or $300 / £250 / €300 on the ROLI Piano and Airwave bundle.
